Jorge Velasco has in-depth experience working with contractors, agency representatives, and field staff to help oversee construction progress and ensure compliance with and adherence to construction schedules, mitigation plans, traffic control plans and conditions of approval. Mr. Velasco can quickly assess a technical situation, triage and prioritize an issue and help to set clear expectations with the external stakeholders. Mr. Velasco is an Oakland native who earned his undergraduate degree in Philosophy at St. Mary’s College of California and his construction management certificate at California State University, East Bay.
