LCG supported Parkinson’s Disease (PD) Active in developing and implementing a strategy to increase engagement within the African American and Latino communities inclusive of those with PD, family members, and support providers. Our team identified local health centers, community based organizations, and other trusted community partners to share information on PD Active.  LCG convened a focus group of current diverse members to gather their feedback and recommendations on how the organization could increase outreach and programming to a broader audience and LCG facilitated a YouTube session with Dr. Donna Carey on Parkinson Disease.  LCG recommended governance strategies for the formation of a Diversity Advisory Council.
